If your infrared thermometer is not reading people's temperature properly please follow the instructions in this article.
Firstly, There is a wide range of external sources that can interfere with the infrared thermometer and cause abnormal readings. please double check if any of the following external causes may be affecting the reading:
Heating vents nearby
Proximity to a radio frequency with an electromagnetic field
LEDs or incandescent light bulbs nearby (less likely)
Confirm thermometer is reading abnormally:
Click on the "i" icon in the top left corner of the kiosk home page 5 times quickly. Click on the button that says "Take temperature". If the thermometer gives you an abnormal reading, please move on to step #2Unplug the thermometer from the kiosk screen
Sometimes the thermometer just needs a fresh start. Please unscrew ad remove the thermometer from the kiosk screen for 10 minutes and re-add connect.
After the thermometer has been reconnected, please reboot the device and re-test the thermometer (Click here to see how to reboot the device).
