Step 1: Enable Guided Access

First enable "Guided Access" by opening the Settings app and going to General > Accessibility > Guided Access. Enable the “Guided Access” slider here.

Also, enable 'Mirror Display Auto-Lock" to ensure your kiosk does not turn off after 20 minutes.

Tap “Passcode Settings” to set a PIN for guided access and choose whether or not you can exit Guided Access with Touch ID, if your iPad has a Touch ID sensor. You can use the same PIN you use to unlock the iPad or a different one.

Step 2: Configure Keyboard Settings

Since your kiosk will be for public use, you want to turn off a few keyboard features. Navigate to the Settings app and go to General > Accessibility > Keyboards.

Turn "Auto-Correction" off

Turn "Predictive" off

Turn "Check Spelling" off

Step 3: Set iPad to never shut-off

Navigate to the Settings app and go to General > Display & brightness > Auto-Lock.
Switch "Auto-Lock" to NEVER.

Step 4: Turn brightness to Max

Navigate to the Settings app and go to General > Display & brightness and slide to Max brightness.

Step 5: Final Step

Now that all the settings are configured properly, we are ready to lock the iPad to the Striv360 kiosk app. Simply navigate to the Striv360 Kiosk app and click the home button 3 times. You should see a brief message display "Guided Access Enabled".

To end kiosk mode, reverse this acction and tab the home button 3 times, enter the code you setup in step 1.
